Big G Express, Inc. became 100% employee-owned on January 1, 2009 through an ESOP. An ESOP, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, is a retirement plan. Unlike a 401(k) plan, employees do not contribute to the ESOP; Big G Express, Inc makes all contributions to the ESOP account. An ESOP allows all employees to have ownership in the company, share in the risks and rewards of being an owner, influence future success of the company, own an interest in the company and to share in financial results. After just 3 years of being an ESOP, Big G's stock has more than doubled.
Top Out Pay: $0.46 CPM
Automatic 1/2 cent per mile Increase Every 6 Months
Progessive Pay Scale for Shorter Hauls: Big G will pay OTR drivers additional cents per mile for short runs based on the following scale:
1 to 49 Miles: Paid as Local
50 to 200 Miles: $0.10
201 to 250 Miles: $0.08
251 to 300 Miles: $0.06

Safety & Compliance Bonus
Big G Express, Inc. has a bonus program in place to reward drivers not for doing the job they were hired to do, but for doing it well. This bonus is for those who perform their duties in a safe, dutiful and error-free manner. All full-time drivers qualify for consideration by the Safety & Performance Committee after completion of 90 days of service.
